No other club had so many members killed or maimed in World War One, than NFAFC. The heavy losses saw the club bereft of players and ultimatley closed the Club down. A snapshot of these early years,.. the re-emergence of North Fremantle as a community club... and the actions taken to uphold the promise given to the community that their sons will never be forgotten has embedded the culture of ANZAC Day as an integral part og Club culture forever. The annual orientation and immersion of each new group of Colts to understanding about ANZAC Day and being actively involved in its preservation, perpetuates the aim, 'To Never forget.' The ANZAC Service at the memorial of the Fallen Soldier has grown into a whole community partnership, each ANZAC day. The tradition continues!
Channel 9 showed great interest in the Club story and has taken footage of memorabilia, archives, the historical oval, colts interviewees and the NFAFC President. This will be presented as part of Channel 9's News program on ANZAC Day Wednesday news.
