While all other North teams enjoy this Saturday's bye, the Brett Jones Colts played the only game for the round, against a strong Uni team!  It was always going to be a HUGE task, given they lost to Uni by over 140 points in their last encounter.

However,  it was  new BJC side that played today!  One which depicted greater endeavour, focus, teamwork and desire to win - in wet, wintry conditions.  there was a good feeling among the lads prior to the game. A couple of strategic team additions and having all the colts down for support, certainly gave the lads confidence.

The game was a fantastic arm wrestle, between two good sides. Scores changed several times, with each having a chance to win.  However, it was the North determination, plus the vocal group of suppoerters that eventually saw our lads snatch victory in the final minutes!  Great win...and great atmosphere afterwards.  This was not the expected script, but then miracles do happen!  It was North who made it happen.  Congratulations to Jordan, his team and the BJC lads!!
