President Report Round 16: July 28 2018

Four wins out of six games was a good result as finals positions are consolidated by the League; Reserves; Thirds and Drew Banfield Colts. League locked in second position, Reserves top position, Thirds vying for second and DBC Colts fighting for fourth spot.

A wet and blustery Round 15 saw another mixed bag of results with a draw, two wins and three losses. Th highlight of the round was the tenacious win by the Fours to celebrate Brynne Farrell's 300th Game!

Round 14 was a very productive weekend for the Club, winning 5 out of 6 games. The 'top of the table' clash was the highlight of the round in an absorbing encounter, deserved of a high billing and a terrific crowd who were engrossed throughout. Congratulations to both teams.

Round 13 saw a mixed bag of results with a draw, three wins and two losses. On a fine Saturday we had high expectations which were confirmed in soem games, but fell short in others.

President Report Round 12: June 30 2018

The fine weather also saw some of the best football for the season from the Senior teams, winning all their games. A terrific reunion gathering of the Inaugural 1978 Colts Premiership team and Life Members made it a special day! Great to see so many past players who not only enjoyed their reunion celebrations but also the high quality of football put on display by the League and Reserves teams. The crowd made Award Presentations a special night. Everyone was in good spirits!

The great weather on Saturday also saw some great football form North teams. Of the six games, North won five, some were huge!! Great to have so many supporters and family members at the Gil for our home games and to join us in the celebrations and awards afterwards! A great night!

2018 ANZAC Round acknowledged with respect at Gil Fraser Reserve!

The ANZAC round saw our Colts wear the new NFAFC ANZAC strip as well as two new Julian Murphy ANZAC Medallion winners - the fairest and best in both colts games! Unfortunately the results didn't go our way, way. The seniors however continued their successes with four wins.

Channel 9 NFAFC ANZAC Story

Channel 9 showed great interest in the Club story and has taken footage of memorabilia, archives, the historical oval, colts interviewees and the NFAFC President. This will be presented as part of Channel 9's News program on ANZAC Day Wednesday news.
